Back att Communication Station, Dave Gray wants us to let go when sketching. I am myself a doodler, and often draws in the margins of my notebook when I sit at meeting. I still listen while my pen draws something all by itself. Some om my best ideas is born that way, and I know it is because I let go and let my subconcious guide the pen instead of my mind (who is still busy listening).
My collegues on the other hand calls it a mind "screensaver" that goes on when my mind goes off.
Whatever..
